Network Strategies runs LRIC modelling workshop in Dubai
Popular session at IIR Telecoms Cost Accounting conference
AUCKLAND, NEW ZEALAND - Noelle Jones (Principal Consultant) conducted a one-day workshop on LRIC modelling at the IIR conference on Telecoms Cost Accounting in Dubai (28 October - 1 November 2007).
Topics covered included:
- outlining top-down and bottom-up approaches to building LRIC models
- determining the cost drivers to incorporate into a LRIC model
- determining accurate and justifiable efficiency adjustments for LRIC models
- evaluating the practical requirements of implementing LRIC.
She also presented a paper on best practice LRIC modelling for mobile networks.
The well-received sessions were attended by regulators and operators from the Middle East, Asia and Europe.
