Public Private Partnerships

Emerging PPP models that address both demand and supply issues offer increased potential for service delivery in areas with limited infrastructure or where deployment is constrained by high costs. We provide economic, technical and financial advice for potential PPPs, and have led in-country workshops as part of knowledge transfer and capacity building initiatives.

PPP funding models for broadband

On behalf of a government agency we examined various Public-Private Partnership funding models, including foreign direct investment (FDI) in broadband ventures.

PPPs for universal service

We performed a diagnostic review of the Vanuatu telecoms market and regulatory structure for a World Bank (Public Private Partnership Infrastructure Advisory Facility) assignment, including the provision of recommendations to the Government for improving rural and remote island service provision.

PPP models for broadband deployment

We investigated options for a New Zealand Broadband Infrastructure to provide high-speed broadband access to 75% of the population and developed business cases for potential PPPs.
